STUDIO ASSOCIATE

Position: Studio Associate
Location: Framingham, MA
Schedule: Part-time (12–20 hours/week to start)
Weekend availability required
Extra hours available in December
Optional off-site event work (e.g. holiday markets in Boston)

Ash & Rose is a boutique studio and retail space filled with curated gifts, artisan goods, and handmade beauty for stylish women. We’re a tiny team with a big love for creativity, community, and craftsmanship — and we’re looking for a Studio Associate to help us bring the magic to life.

✨ About the Role

This is a hands-on, creative role that goes beyond traditional retail. Yes, you’ll help customers — but you’ll also be building, packaging, labeling, organizing, styling, and supporting the day-to-day rhythm of a vibrant maker space.

There are also opportunities to work off-site events like holiday festivals and pop-ups in the Boston area — and extra hours will be available throughout December, our busiest and most festive season.

Your day-to-day might include:

• Greeting and assisting in-store shoppers with warmth and care

• Packaging and shipping online orders with attention to detail

• Labeling and finishing handmade products in our studio

• Assisting with in-store events and private shopping parties

• Creating simple content for Instagram, Stories, or Reels (training provided!)

• Participating in off-site events like holiday markets (optional)

💫 Who We're Looking For

You’re someone who:

• Loves beautiful things and the creative process

• Is friendly, helpful, and eager to pitch in wherever needed

• Is organized, reliable, and takes pride in your work

• Works well independently but enjoys being part of a team

• Is open to learning new tools and systems (like Canva or Shopify)

No formal experience is required. We’re happy to train the right person who shares our aesthetic and values.

🌟 Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Very Welcome!)

Have creative or technical talents you'd love to bring to the table? Let us know! We’d be thrilled to work with someone who also has skills in:

• Photography or videography

• Video editing or motion graphics

• Graphic design or illustration

• Social media strategy or SEO

• Visual merchandising

• Event planning or content marketing

These are completely optional, but could open the door to additional projects and responsibilities over time.
